CHEEK RISER FAQ

Answers to the most common questions we get on our cheek risers.

WHICH RISER HEIGHT IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Everyone's face and optic setup is different, so we cannot select a single fit based on your mount. We recommend adding layers of material, such as cardboard, paper, mousepad, T-shirt, towel, etc to your stock until you achieve cheekbone contact with no scope shadow. Then, measure the height of your material and select the riser height that is closest to your material thickness.

WILL YOUR RISER FIT MY STOCK?

Our risers' product pages include a list of stocks we have tested and know it will fit, or ones we know it specifically will not fit. Our Carbine Cheek Risers fit a much wider range of stocks than our other options. You're always welcome to reach out to us for clarification on fit.

WHAT IS THE BEST COLOR MATCH FOR MAGPUL FDE?

Our "Tan" Stock Skin has the closest match for Magpul FDE if you're looking to add color to your Carbine Cheek Riser. The Carbine Cheek Riser can also be spray painted.

Our Limited Run "FDE" color is the closest color match for our SOPMOD Cheek Riser.

I ORDERED THE WRONG HEIGHT. CAN I MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

Yes! Please reach out to us for RMA instructions. Return the riser to us for a product refund; you'll be responsible for return shipping. You can place a new order for the correct height cheek riser at any time.

WHAT IS STOCK SKIN?

Stock Skin is a laser-cut, adhesive-backed fabric wrap that we apply to your Carbine Cheek Riser at order. This 500D Cordura fabric improves traction, adds color, reduces IR signature, and can even take the sting out of an ice-cold stock for you northerners! We also have a separate Stock Skin product line that you can apply to your favorite stock as well.

CAN YOU MAKE A CUSTOM HEIGHT?

We do not currently offer custom riser heights. However, if you are in need of something specific, please let us know the height you are looking for. If we have enough requests, it will likely become a product.
